Four consecutive Thursdays, April 16, 23, 30 and May 7: INSTITUTE FOR HEALING RACISM (intermediate-advanced)—Join this group to learn about the sin of racism while growing with others in a Christ-centered environment. This four week training will be an opportunity to build bridges with others in the fight against racism. 14 approved CEs. Cost: $175
May 19: GANGS - KNOWLEDGE IS POWER (beginning)—Since Biblical times, criminal organizations that engage in secretive, antisocial and criminal behavior have disrupted everyday life. Gangs are not new, nor are the social ills associated with them. 2.5 approved CEs. Cost: $29
May 21: SUICIDE INTERVENTION WITH ADOLESCENTS (intermediate)—Suicide is a desperate act of self-destruction to alleviate something that appears unchangeable. For some, it's a way of finding "peace" and escape - for others, it becomes a way to protest and rage, a tool for empowerment. 3 approved CEs.

Tuesday, April 7: SELF-INJURIOUS BEHAVIOR (intermediate/advanced) Self-injuring behaviors are destructive coping methods used by adolescents at an increasingly alarming rate in our society. Some adolescents have even resorted to what they call "cutting clubs." 1.5 approved CEs. Cost: $10
Tuesday, May 12: EFFECTIVE INTERVENTIONS IN FAMILY THERAPY (basic-intermediate) So what really happens when the whole family is in your office? Are there certain concrete do's and don'ts? What are the major dominant models of family therapy? What are some truly effective interventions? 2 approved CEs. Cost: $10
